We had a wonderful Easter weekend. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family!
We spent the day Saturday at a crawfish boil at Ross' house with our family and Ashleigh's family. We had a wonderful day just visiting and having a good time.
On Sunday, we went to church and then headed to Mrs. Jo and Mr. Paul's house to spend some time with Cory's family. Halle had a blast hiding and hunting for Easter Eggs. That afternoon we went to my parent's house to have dinner and hunt more Easter Eggs. I don't think Halle ever gets tired of looking for eggs! I think she would do it all year long!

Cole's first encounter with grass!
Halle and Zach blowing a dandelion. She picked it and brought it to him and said "let's blow it togever" It was so cute!

Now for what happened the day after Easter...
Halle was playing outside with her Daddy and it was time to clean up and come inside to eat supper. She was forgetting her jump rope on the porch and her watch on the bumper of Cory's truck. I told her to go get them and she took off running toward Cory's truck to get her watch. While running she tripped and fell face first into the trailer hitch. I was horrified! I ran to her and immediately put my hand over her face where she hit and was covered with blood. Then Cory came over and like Superman he whisked her up, brought her inside and was cleaning the wound and telling me what he needed. We decided to take her to the Urgent Care clinic to make sure that she didn't need stitches. She was such a trooper through the whole ordeal. She had stopped crying by the time we loaded up her and BabyCole into the car. At the clinic they took her in almost immediately. We saw the doctor, who was wonderful by the way, and he said she didn't need stitches, but would close the wound with Dermabond so that it would heal nicely. She had to have x-rays to make sure she didn't fracture anything (and she didn't). She called the sheilds that they put on you for x-rays "caps". By the time we left the clinic she was acting like her normal cheery self. She didn't want me to take any pictures of her boo boo so I had to sneak these while she was napping.
I just thank God that she is ok. We have been taking it easy the past few days. The doctor said she should heal in about 7-10 days. We are supposed to be going to the New Orleans zoo this Friday. I am hoping we still get to go. We will just have to see how her boo boo is healing by then.

My poor sweet angel - it looks terrible! But thank God it wasn't worse. I hope she heals soon!
